Responding to the increase in legislation requiring quality control inspection and testing services on new construction, Charles C. May, P.E. and Dennis H. Stack founded CASCADE TESTING LABORATORY, INC. in the summer of 1974. Both having been active in this field for many years, their desire was to offer the type of quality services that has come to be associated with their names in this industry.
At the end of 2002, Cascade was purchased by two long time employees: Kenneth B. Foot and Michele J. Guerrini. They have been with Cascade since 1976 and 1979 respectively. Kenneth Foot is President and Technicial Director and is very well known in the industry as a concrete expert, as well as an expert in all types of material testing. Michele Guerrini is Vice President and Office Manager.
Offering field inspections, laboratory testing and utilizing consulting registered professional engineers and engineering geologists for foundation investigations, applied earth sciences and soil mechanics, has enabled them to undertake many large projects in the area and been the basis for their growth.
